Grandfather VanAustline in front of the family home sitting in his car, along with him is his Wife Gertuid (Her car is the coupe behind the Paige, it is still in the garage behind the house) along with her Sister Betty White. This Photo is marked fall '27. They started buying Pierce Arrows after the Paige Company was sold to the Graham Brothers in '27-'28. Last time I saw him he was driving a 1936 Packard V12 Phaeton which he purchased new. That was about 1963.
